The Jharkhand Loot - Don't we have Khodas in other states?

If an independent MLA propped up as CM of a small state could amass several thousand's of crores within 3 years of being in power (refer recent news in TOI) , it is only natural for citizens to surmise that we must have Bigger Khodas in all states who have been in power for longer time whose wealth must be running in to Tens of thousands of crores. It will not be surprising if few of them even topple Ambanis as wealthiest Indians. Why are they not being nailed as the money trail will be bigger and easier to trace. Even ordiinary citizens have come to believe that few corrupt get nailed only when they donot toe the line of the high and mighty cartel !!

All these corrupt money stashed in various parts of the world has been robbed from the Indian citizens and we should demand thru various forums including elections to get it back from wherever they are lying now on a war footing. More than just retrieving the stashed money, it will send a strong message to corrupt that it is no longer rewarding for them to amass large wealth. Also, it is not enough for judiciary, legislature, executive employees to just file assets accumulated but also reveal how they managed to increase their assets almost at impossible rates of 50%+ annually mostly due to insider information on contracts, real estate / infra development, . Similar to "Insider trading" in stockmarket, legislation should be brought to prevent people with access to sensitive info from profiting / passing on to their circle.

Contrast this with few rich Indians like Infosys honchos who created wealth for investors and employees and they took 3 long decades of honest and transparent work to reach where they are and many of them are currently focussed on social upliftment/empowerment using their hard earned wealth. Just imagine how India would prosper if these honest, capable and sensitive people run the government. For this, the political eco system along with Indian psyche needs to undergo big transformation. Are we ready for this?
